Role Summary:
Hands-on Google Ads Engineer. You will own daily campaign execution, optimizations, tracking, and reporting across a portfolio of 15 to 20 accounts. This is a technical, individual contributor role for an organized, self-directed operator who delivers measurable lead generation results.
What you will do:
- Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns to drive qualified leads and measurable ROI.
- Own day-to-day campaign builds, bids, budgets, audiences, assets, and tracking.
- Troubleshoot conversion tracking and landing page issues and recommend fixes.
- Produce clear performance reporting and concise, actionable next steps.
- Collaborate with Customer Success Managers, the web department, and leadership to align strategy and execution.
- Use Google Ads Editor and other tools to execute bulk changes efficiently.
- Keep up with practical Google Ads features and PPC best practices that move KPIs.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years hands-on experience managing Google Ads and PPC campaigns.
- Experience managing $100K plus in ad spend, either monthly or portfolio-equivalent.
- Current Google Ads Search and Google Ads Display certifications required. Google Analytics certification is a plus.
- Proficiency with Google Ads Editor and Google Analytics. Experience with common tracking tools and call tracking is preferred.
- Proven ability to manage 15 to 20 active accounts with minimal oversight.
- Strong analytical skills and a practical, results-first mindset.
- US-based and able to work Central Time hours.
Preferred
- Experience with HubSpot and Asana preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with landing page CRO and basic scripting or automation for scaling optimizations is a plus.
How we work
We are remote but run core office hours in Central Time for team coordination and client responsiveness. We expect ownership, timely answers, clean deliverables, and the ability to prioritize without constant direction.
